Default Piano One Playback Sound?

As I am working my way through the Reaper tutorials, I've installed Piano One. I can add it to a new track and can input with my midi and see it playing...but no sound. I get sound from my other VI. My audio device is enabled as is my midi player. My computer sound seems to have the right settings. Any idea why Piano One isn't playing back sound when everything else is?
Thanks!

As mentioned in the link Stella provided above, make sure that the Piano One plugin itself is pointing to the Piano1.ins sound file.

More info here (see post #5): https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=168058

Default Still Sound Issues

I've downloaded Piano One, unzipped with a RAR app and copied the file into the VST Plugin file. While I see the dll file, I can't see a ins subfile. There are two files in the main Piano One folder called wp.wyc and wp2.wyc.

In Reaper I don't see any setting that would allow me to point to the mysterious ins file. I've read through the other thread and can't see anything that helps. Does anyone know why there isn't a ins subfile and what the other 2 files are?

I downloaded the archive and looks like the install has changed....there is now an msi installer which should do everything for you.

So not sure where you got your download from with the dll files but I don't think that's the official download from the website I linked.

Sorry to be so dense. I did use the link you gave. I just deleted the previous Piano One files and re-downloaded, unpacked and moved the uncompressed file into VST folder. Still no sound. My other plugins have sound, so I don't think it's a REAPER setting. I'll keep trying...but I must be missing something pretty basic. Thanks for answering.

Default Solution

I now have sound. I copied the file into my external drive, added that path to Preference VST and re-scanned. Not sure why it wouldn't sound in the other location, but I'm glad it's now working. Thanks for your answers.
