Default Shading of solo and mute tracks

Hi,

I am struggeling with Reapers shading of 'inactive' tracks. I often solo tracks to edit them, but I like to see the other tracks for reference. Unfotunately Reaper shades the other, inaudible, tracks very dark, so that it is extreamly tiresome to the eyes to see their waveforms.
Today I have gone through almost all color options in the preferences, but there seemes to be no way to stop the dark shading.
Does anybody know a way to make the inaudible tracks (when using solo or mute) brighter? They should just look like normal tracks.

Greetings,
Marcus

I would also like to know about this - my mouse gets lost under the shading!

Anyone know the answer?

Me too, I thought about changing the color to better suit my theme, but without any success...

Not possible yet.

Default Shady

I also don't like the dark shaded muted or not soloed tracks. How may we persuade the programmers to do something about this? That cannot be to hard? I'm fairly new to REAPER so excuse my ignorance. There probably is some list of known issues or wishes that may be addressed in the future? And if many support this it may come true?

Default Alpha blending inactive tracks

..still not possible?
Couldn't find any option tweak the shading of inactive/muted tracks. An option in the Theme editor to alpha-blend the shading, like it is done with faded areas on media items for example, would be nice.

Nope - there are several related FRs in the Issue Tracker.
