Default Backing up Reaper Folder

Hi everybody.
I know that you can export a configuration file for backup, but it's a lot easier to just backup the whole Reaper folder (AppData-Roaming-Reaper) to a cloud backup service and keeping it synced, so that whenever I make any changes, they're immediately backed up in the cloud. Then if I reinstall on another computer I just copy the folder in the same place.
Is this the same as exporting a file though? Does this folder contain evrything that is in the exported file? As anybody tried this?

Thanks.

The resource folder contains everything and the "Export configuration" archive often doesn't.

Don't want to start a big thing here, but have you ever considered just getting and external USB drive and periodically copying your data to that drive instead of transmitting it out across the internet?

Those cloud services tend to be resource hogs as well, it's just one more process that's always running on your computer, and it's sucking up bandwidth on your internet connection. Granted there's configuration considerations regarding how much of those resources it's taking up, but it's still something to think about.

The other thing is that if you ever have to recover your data, it will reload a lot quicker from a USB drive than it will over the internet.

Just my personal opinion. That and 5 to 7 bucks will get you a Latte Crapacino at Starbucks.

I would recommend instead of immediately backing up changes you have it happen once a day.

video about it here
