Do I have to delete my old Asio4All program or just download the new Asio4All right on top of it and let it take care of older version automatically?

IMO you should delete this outdated and obsolete piece of cr*p all together. It is and always has been a hack trying to pretend it's a functional tool, much like your average 'registry optimizer'.

Paulheu, believe it or not, for some people, it works, and for them your comment is hilariously misplaced.
Still wondering if you are capable of good cheer.

My personal experience is ASIO4All works pretty well. I use it less nowadays because my main recording machine just uses the native ASIO drivers for my interface, but it seemed okay to me.

Yeah, this v2.12 is pretty stable and has proved flawless in operation. You know, even good commercial ASIO drivers have been known to die and a re-install/repair attempt can fail rarely. I keep this ASIO4ALL around in just in case.
And I really do suggest this ASIO driver to anyone getting started and short on gear and cash!

I know what you mean.....But for the record;
Asio4all is not a driver, it is a wrapper to "fool" your OS into "thinking" whatever your native audio driver is an asio driver. It seems to be ok when an interface has crappy or just outdated drivers, but I would think that this happens less and less. I have used it on "non-audio" computers that don;t have an asio interface at all and still gotten lower latency than what would otherwise be obtainable.

Oh, yeah -- I recall you mentioned that before. Tell me once or twice more, next time it comes up again, and I may even remember.
And I have observed same as regards your last remark above. Interesting.
