Reaper Themes in Linux (installation question)
Hello!
What is the best and easiest way to install a Reaper Theme in Linux? In Windows, you simply download the theme file, double click it and Reaper opens with the new theme. Done. But in Linux? Btw, I have Arch Linux and use it strictly terminal based. So I have no graphical file manager, where I could double click files or something like that. I have tried to execute the downloaded theme file, but that did not work. Please help! |

On most linux distros you can double click, same as on Windows or MacOS.
(That's the answer for future readers of this post that are contemplating switching to Linux, lol ) If you want to use the command line: Code:
reaper YourTheme.ReaperConfigZip

You can also
Code:
cp yourtheme ~/.config/REAPER/ColorThemes |

Or you can just drag 'n' drop the theme file anywhere onto REAPER's main window

* I believe nnn implements XDND on X (not sure about wayland). Also possibly Ranger might do the trick as well. |

I was gonna suggest copying the theme to the ~/.config/REAPER/ColorThemes/ folder, but you beat me to it. |

Thanks again for all your suggestions. It seems there are many ways to get it done. As a terminal user, the easiest way for me was:
reaper nameoftheme Then Reaper starts with the new theme. Cool! |
