Great work on this theme man!
Better take your time and do stuff in your own tempo than trying
to finish this theme in a rush. Looking forward for the final result.
Also, getting JCS to change something to fit your theme is not an impossible task, but indeed very, very hard.
You really need to have some good arguments and a lot of people behind you.

yes, to do it the way you illustrated I believe would require the tcp to collapse differently then it currently does, and that would upset some users most likely requiring more "options" and you start to get into the territory of things being completely user-definable in terms of positioning of control elements.
It's a great idea nevertheless (and of course the theme looks great), just not all realistic, people should realize this.

I Don't agree All it would require is a background for the pan info which would act exactly as the actual pan background does i.e disappear with the pan as you shrink the track size. It would take but one additional .png file plus one for the MCP .

yes that's right, I though pan and volume was seperate at one point, but it isn't, so nevermind my little rant. Still, the theme doesn't work well as-is

you've great instincts my friend. i'm with stepone that the faders could be toned down a touch. i'm trying to get some separation between the fx/routing/phase buttons and the m/s buttons too without losing the consistency, but i like what you did a lot! thanks.

My I make a critical remark? Yes, this screenshot is very easy to the eyes, but when I actually use it I will have to strain may eyes more to see active mutes and solos and and the volume levels. Just because the contrasts are so low. Just a usability thingie.
Otherwise it's a very balanced layout, definitely.

totally convincing, man! the buttons are looking perfect! low contrast may be an issue but let's see how it behaves in "real life" (synonym for "upload it, dude!")

That looks nice, BUT: I really don't know what so many people find about this dark-gray-on-light-gray-button writing. I can hardly read that. More contrast, please!

They look fine to me.
I don't know how this theme will look after I actually try it (many themes look awesome right up until I actually install them), but I have very high hopes for it.
Yes, certainly listen to ideas/critiques that people have and consider them, but I'd just encourage you to trust your instincts. You certainly have good ones and you'll never please everyone.
So far, this theme has a nice calming effect (as others have mentioned) and a dimension (for lack of a better word) that most themes don't seem to have. Everything has its own space and weight. Very nice.
Keep going

I totally echo the above.
Low contrast buttons is fine with me, they *should* be more in the background. What I love about this theme is the high contrast text on media items and the timeline whilst still managing to make it look balanced and hi-tech. There's an appreciation for colour here that is sorely lacking from most other themes.
...and the solid item labels. I can't WAIT for the solid item labels - one of my biggest bug bears with Reaper is how nastily this is dealt with at the moment

I thank you all for patience!
I'm trying to be more rapid, but I'm straitened in time with my job. Also being not a professional graphics designer I take a long time to find a right way of bringing my visions to reality... But I have a little progress every day

Hey Ortseam,
Your toolbar buttons on the first page are quite cool. Would you mind sharing them with me so that I could integrate them in my "Digidesign" Look? That'd be awesome, thanks!
PS: It's your little icons I'd like to have so that I could redraw the button to fit the style of my skin, thanks!

He means the pictures on the icon buttons without the buttons. He wants to make his own icon buttons with your artwork.
Here's me hoping it'll be out soon.

Any Progress??
.. Just wondering if any progress has been made or if there is perhaps even a beta that we could all try. seems like more than a few folks are clamoring for this beauty, myself included ...
Thanks!

Is it possible to quit your job so you can finish this theme? You can always find other employment once you've delivered this masterpiece to our anxious little finger tips.
