Default Another native Linux VST 64bit plugin: TLs-3113-Limiter

A character Brickwall limiter with ratio control so you can dial back
a bit and get looser brickwall action if you compensate up to -12db on the output...

I find myself using this one on most of my songs where I use it on
the drumbus mainly to beef up stuff and make it pump.

The reason most of my plugins name start with "TLs" was simply many many
years ago I had a "Tube Limit Simple" in my head and shortened it down
to "TLs"... and it just stuck where it is easier to find them in a list...
..and 3113 is just a spinoff of 2112... yes I like Rush...

In other words.. dont take names and looks too seriously.. listen with your
ears... many hours into this one...

Only a Linux version at the moment... do try it out:

Daniel you rock! I've been using Xhip's Clipper on my acoustic drums, because I wanted to go native Linux. I have Windows based brickwall limiters, but prefer to not use them if possible.

First thing I did was replace five instances of Clipper with five instances of TLs-3113 and to my surprise, they held the line just like Clipper was doing without me having to adjust anything.

My use of brickwall limiting has always been to just shave off peaks that stand well above the other content. I like to run tracks until I get occasional peak lights flashing, then brickwall to keep them at bay.

Thanks for providing this much needed tool. Xhip's Clipper has only a peak light unlike easy to read VU of the TLs-3113, and it's rotary controls are a bit too touchy for me, where your controls seem to move with a more positive feel. Thanks again and keep it up!

If you want even more fine tune on my plugins then hold down the left "CTRL" key to slow down the movement.

My OCD likes that! I'll sometimes try a couple of values for a parameter on a plugin and then decide to split the difference.

If the top value was 20 and the bottom value was 5 then there is a 15 point difference and half would be 7.5, but with some plugins attempting to dial up a value of 7.5 results in carpal tunnel syndrome!

I was SO glad when PSP changed Vintage Warmer from being one of those fiddly plugins that you can't ever hit precise values with to one that you can double click a control, then type the value you want. Unfortunately that is a Windows plugin and one I hardly ever use because of that. Your TLs-1295-LEA will likely become my replacement for PSP-VW.

IMMEDIATELY DOWNLOADED

In case anyone didn't watch the video in the last thread: if using these plugins "as normal compressors" doesn't already sound impressive enough, try self-automating (via the envelope) the controls such as compression and gain. The compressors are a lot more flexible than they seem.

It's mesmerizing to watch all the knobs dance in time with the music too!

Are you Tin Brooke Tale, who made the other TLS plugins several years ago ?
If so, hats off to you, i enjoyed a lot your Saturated Driver and Pocket Limiter
It's been a while, i'm glad to see you're still making music and plugins, and thank you for your previous creations

Yupp... they will be ported...

These first two plugins were easy to complete since they were developed with the new framework... the old ones I have to spend some serious time with each one to get them up and running...
