Track separator .png image.Name ??
Hello to all. Question: In themes that have the separator .png image inside them by default, what is the name of this figure ?? I would like to be able to create them in those themes that I use and that do not have them. Thanks in advance for the help. Spookye

Reaper doesn't have the 'separator' function.
Themes can be made to include entirely blank, narrow layouts that the user can choose to use as separators, but these come with a requirement of total diligence from the user, because as far as Reaper is concerned that are fully functional tracks which can make sound, have and receive sends, use processing, be automated, be copied and pasted etc etc ...yet have no controls or meters to indicate what's going on.
Clearly this is very dangerous for users who might not be 100% clear at all times exactly what is going on and ready to face the consequences, so I have and will continue to take the position that separator layouts are very, very far from appropriate for a default theme. In the default 6 theme I did add the 'add border' functionality (to the mixer only I'm afraid), which allows you to turn one layout into a layout + separator, or to add borders around folders. This might be what you're looking for, it might not, find it on the mixer page of the theme adjuster.
For someone who wants to get into theming, modding in a separator layout to a theme is a super easy, beginner level exercise and I would expect that for most themes someone has already done it if you ask around. You make a new layout, you call it 'separator', you make it narrow, you hide all the stuff.

Separators are useful - but I much prefer your idea of incorporating space in the graphic, to make it seem like a separator.

Thanks guys .... while I was waiting for answers (I only realized now that they were there ....) I found the method. It was enough to search for the image in the themes that use it and create a copy suitable for the theme without. A thousand thanks.

I don't know what you're seeing, but there is no image and that's not how it works.

The separators need to be in their own folder within the Theme folder, if you place them in the roof folder you will mess up your theme.
The files 'mcp_bg.png, mcp_bgsel.png, tcp_bg.png & tcp_bgsel.png in your root folder to the theme, is the main part of your theme. you need to create a folder for your separator and also add the corresponding information in the rtconfig.txt file for things to work correctly.
Why? because those same files are also your "separator files".
Study carefully other themes with the separators (The rtconfig.txt file) to understand what is being done.

Not necessarily, most themes have very little detail on the backgrounds and will be fine as they are. You make a new layout, you call it 'separator', you make it narrow, you hide all the stuff.

... ok guys thanks for the advice. Don't worry ... I haven't broken anything. And then I would have done it for myself personally, not to edit it in the stock. Experimenting, I was able to color some VKBs for personal pleasure, to "touch up" some parts of the transport always for my personal pleasure. I found that I didn't do any damage but I don't do it compulsively. Thanks again for your answers. Spookye

@Spookye,
Glad that everything is working out well on your Theme modifications,
Just take it slow... and change things a little at a time, if needed.
The image in post #4 is WT's Imperial theme, going on 4 years of changes.

Thanks Robert. I know, but I just edit small parts of a theme. I'm not going to create one from scratch. I saw your "Black Hawk" theme .... very nice. I have tried it, but for my PC / monitor requirements it is not suitable, but that does not mean I cannot say that it is a great theme. Well done! And 1000 thanks again for your answers.
