Default 2 second delay between tracks

when i render my finished album down to a cd, reaper automatically puts a two second pause between tracks. how do i eliminate this? on the render screen i am intentionally leaving a zero second lead-in silence for tracks. this request is not being heeded.

I know that Nero Express has (used to have, at least) a check box for "No pause between tracks" or something similar.

Isn't the 2 seconds between tracks a Red Book requirement? Feels like I've read about that somewhere...

Only for the first lead-in track, yes. It can be set to 0 between tracks
in any proper cd burning app.

Try using the cdrtools api and not the native windows one. That should do it. Or render the image file and burn it with image burn....thats what I do. You have control over the speed of the burn.

If you did you should have gotten a gap-less cd. Image burn is a separate freeware program. In the render image file dialog there is a option to add space on the beginning and before each song. Try adding 2000 ms to the beginning and 0 between tracks and then install image burn and point it to the bin-cue file and you have a gap-less cd.
