Volume control for plugin output
Would be nice if we have plugin output volume control (for example beside wet control in FX edit window) to match volume even if plugin don't have it.

Yeah, I often end up having to chuck an eq after some plugins to gain stage. Also, if you are using the built in wet control, you have no way to gainstage after this

Yes. Next to wet there should be an input & output knob!

Why ?
The actual level of a signal in the FX chain is not relevant in most cases. ("Clipping" is impossible with a DAW due to floating point sample format.)
Plugins that do need a certain level, are supposed to feature an input control.

That's true. However that is not the only reason to gain stage. The other reason is so that you are not fooled by level changes.
Once you start gainstaging your chains as a matter of course, you realise that your favourite plugins are actually just increasing the level, and you change the way you work for the better.

This would be helpful as sadly too many plugins lack output gain.
I often have many instances of a gain plugin just to do this.
It could also eventually evolve into auto-gain compensation where the input/output could be measured with the plugin volume control set to the difference.
The current auto-bypass on silence feature is only measuring the first few samples of a block, but measuring the actual gain doesn't take much CPU, especially as it could the output could be set to a fixed value and the calculation disabled.
