Default How many edits?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (I couldn't work out how to search a phase, rather than just a keyword. Putting the phase in double quotes didn't work), but is there a way to find out how many media items exist on a track?
The project media bay lists each instance of a clip, and it's length etc, but not how many media items there are in total.
Thanks in advance.

1) It's phrase, not phase.

2) Use google search, forum search is mostly useless.
You can use double quotes for the whole phrase there.

Code:
number of items on track site:forum.cockos.com
3) Right click the info line below the tcp for info

Wow... just looked at my original post. Can't believe I managed to write 'phase' twice! In my defence, I WAS really tired at the time I wrote that. Yikes.

incidentally, why is that? i had thought it was just my lousy search skills until the other day i tried to find the going all freeware thread by typing some of those words and got mostly foreign language thread results. it wasn't my spelling; the words I searched titles for were simply not in any of the titles at all.

It's not so much that the forum search is useless as that the Google search is really good. Google's core business is a search engine, after all.

Have you tried putting it through a Phrase Shifter?

It did surprise me too, I thought for a moment it was
an Australian thing, but seemed too fishy
