Default Midi help for newbie

So I posted a midi question in the General Discussion Forum but had about 35 views just no replies. Maybe I posted in the wrong place. So I'll try a little different question

I'd like to record using midi but don't know how. Would someone recommend a website or forum that would be helpful to a novice like me?
Thanks,
Don....

I suppose there will be Videos (e.g. by Kenny Goia) on this.

Indeed. Click on Videos at top of page. Then have a look through the MIDI & Virtual Instruments set and the First MIDI Song set. That should get you going. Then for any more specific questions, perhaps about how to set up a specific MIDI keyboard/controller or get a particular instrument working, this is as good a place as any.

More to the point, in the Newbie section there is a link to a little online booklet on MIDI which will help you get started.

Bugger. I originally posted it and since it isnt sticky, it has disappeared. Just google Beginners help for MIDI
