New Daily Duty theme announce
Working on new theme called 'Daily Duty'. Trying to make an ergonomic eye friendly one for intensive use. The main window is ready now and it seems to be a good occasion for making a small announce )

That theme sir, is extremely nice.
Very soft lines, and I can hardly fault it, except if I may be so bold: The Mute and Solo buttons seem to be a pixel smaller in hight than the phase button they are next to, which looks not right.
I wouldn't mention it but for the fact that I think it would be even nicer if they were the same hight.
Loving those VU's

just my opinion... but I LIKE the pixel difference between the mute/solo and the rest. I think it very subtly differentiates them in a nice way. Also... just my opinion, but I like the "fat" faders...
You've got a lot of talent. This could be my new default.

Instant default! I've always waited for something cool as this one. Any idea when you will have it finished? ;-)
Thanx for making this!

Wow... very Reapertude, dude! Good.
Maybe the pan sliders are too big and I just prefer LED bar for it. And maybe the slider's backgrounds are too big and deep but that's easy to fix.

really nice. Put it up and we can debug it for you.
I would love a cream version (warmer instead of colder colours), the theme 'Creamy Sixty' is an old fav v2 theme.

Thank you all for many inspiring and constructive words!
I'm really short on free time now but I'll try to have it finished as soon as possible. Guess in 2-3 weeks.

Nice,- I like the proper save Icon too,- although perhaps the more modern HDD icon might be better...
Kind regards

Wow this one looks really great..
Very clear and concise.
Great icons..
How did you manage to get the pan info into its own background and does it work with all magnitudes of track size ?
For my taste I'd go with slimmer fader and pan knobs but thats just my opinion.
Great work ............

The pan info background is drawn on the track background inside the non-resizable zone. You're right. It realy works wrong with two smallest track heights and with small track width when knobs and pan info are not shown. It can't be changed now, but maybe it would be possible in future (if Justin agreed to add some new interface options).

Very sexy. My only criticism from that screenshot would be better font choices, but everyone changes those for themselves anyway.

this looks fantastic - loving the solid bar for item name (kinda like logic 5.5 where i came to reaper from) is this a part of the theme or a preference?

Both: I used 'Draw item labels above...' function in prefs and made some undocumented kind of trick with the shadow zone in item background PNG.

That would be awesome is justin could get this theme to work as-is, and if he could get the meter graphic to have transparency so those rounded corners can look consistent with the background, otherwise it's a great effort.
IMO: Other little things you could tweak are the scrollbar zoom buttons, the background of the pan and speed sliders and the folder button look like they have a slight white to them, the background for the main toolbar is strange with those horizonatal lines going across it like that, and I personally would put a small space between the phase and mute button. Again, great work so far.

I couldn't get it to work consistently either same in the mcp
Would be nice if someone did a feature request to add a "pan info background.png" for the mcp and tcp . I would support it but not sure how to suggest it .
Keep up the great work.
P.S. How do you do proper quotes ?
