Just created a profile, jacobh, due to the peer pressure in this thread . Added some old songs - will add more later, I hope.
EDIT: (pain in mouse finger from 'fanning' people) - now for some listeneing ....

This all sounds like a good idea. If you cant have real fans then I suppose any sort are better than nothing! We would like to be adored though!!
Will get busy on reverbnation tonight!

Sarah Alison Tina....the way I see it is like this......the normal public or your listening audience is going to check your fans......if you have 2....they probably won't even give much of a listen.......if you have 40 or 50 or 500 then ...... they are going to want to know why everyone else is interested, and therefore they will give a more serious listen.
While you are at the stage of only having a handful of fans....(Thou I can see this will change quickly), you can actually turn that feature off, so no one can see how "few" fans you have.

I don't think so but a nice thought
It's great site anyway.I've been promoting it for a few years now as I didn't like the format of my Soundclick pages.

Hey guys, Reverbnation will not let me add anybody else to my page (I friended 2000 people I think and then it prevents any more) so I added this page:
http://www.reverbnation.com/prominentcitizen
Friend me here and I'll check your music out.
And, by all means, friend my main music page (see the RN link in my sig)
thanks!

Really awesome. Not only is the music well down, but the production is really great. I'd love to hear about the work done with the guitars because they are really tight. I think I could learn a thing or two.

Lots of great music in this thread! Here's some stuff that I'm involved with:
My studio:
http://www.reverbnation.com/corvidaemusic
Artists I currently work with:
http://www.reverbnation.com/sillssmith (We're a studio creation of three guys, I play bass, guitar, keys, drums and whatever else, I produce/record/mix our projects entirely using Reaper)
http://www.reverbnation.com/drakejensen (bassist/bandleader in his live band, Canada's first openly gay male country singer)
http://www.reverbnation.com/jeremysills (my Sills and Smith bandmate, his solo stuff is meditation music played on Tibetan crystal bowls along with percussion, voice, bells, chimes, tuning forks, etc., very cool stuff.)

My live band project, Deadside Manor
www.reverbnation.com/deadsidemanor
Note a live VIDEO of us playing at the Whiskey Alley last year. that's me in the yellow Spongebob Squarepants shirt with the black Xaviere strat-copy.
This is a very different project for me - sounds almost nothing like my usual Dimaension X stuff.

As I usually do when posting to places for people to give my stuff a listen, I will say - don't feel obligated to fan me, unless you like what I do. I'll still like you.
: ) But if you do dig it, by all means, do so.
It would be great if people posting in here would put a tiny brief description of what they think their stuff sounds like. I mean, I love music people in general, but if you make, say, completely unintelligible (though likely finely played) death metal, I prooooobably wouldn't listen unless there was something really unique about it. In which case, you could say so in your post (like, your rhythm section is always and only a tuba choir).
Thanks for listening, anyone! (music description in sig, below)
