Default Software Meltdown ???

Just installed Reaper ...

Immediately after I click the Reaper icon I get a
blue screen (very brief) followed by a quick shut down
and restart.

Anyone else having this problem.... ???

SBLive

Thanks, BurningSG

Sorry, works fine for me on 2 machines.

You might try downloading Asio For All http://www.asio4all.com/ and see if that helps.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

It's not a prerequisite, but it's worth trying if REAPER's not working for you.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Justin is the man. I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as he gets the chance.

It's possible there's some issue running REAPER on XP Home. You're the second person using that OS to report a problem.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Try v0.48.

There might be some fixes.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

OK, just tried 0.48 - got a strange red bar across the top of the screen for a second or so, then a quick blue screen and then it just shut down. when it started back up it said i recovered from a software problem. (dont recall exactly)

im afraid of causing serious problems .... i better wait for Justin to help me thru this one ....
