Font size of the menus and dialogs
I have issues with my laptop, which has a full HD video card, but a 15" screen, so the fonts in the menu are way too small for me. Is there a way to increase the size of the fonts in the menus. I found the way to change font sizes of various GUI elements (tracks, toolbars...), but not the menus. I know that the solution would be to buy a biiiig screen, but if someone has any clues, welcome !

In the install folder for Reaper for Linux, there will be a file named "libSwell.colortheme". Copy this file into the Reaper "resource folder". To find the resource folder (since it can be installed to different locations depending on the OS, drive structure, users, etc.) do the following:
Start Reaper. Go to the main menu at the top. Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder. That's where to copy the libSwell.colortheme file. Edit the file in a text editor to change the elements you wish. |

Doesn't work for me. Tried both copying and editing that file, as well as some libSwell-user.colortheme that was already inside the config dir, and also editing the very libSwell.colortheme in the Reaper install dir.
Am I doing something wrong here? |

Menu text
Near the top of that file are 2 font or text sizes change those.
You must place it in reapers .config dir Just did this solution 2-3 days ago in reaper Linux 5 Have not tried it on 6 yet. Try on a default theme if you are using a modified theme, make sure you have the right permissions. |

Managed to edit it by editing the libSwell-user.colortheme. I guess the thing was that the original font size is so small, so even enlargement didn't do anything noticeable until a particular number.

change dpi settings for Reaper
Edit the shortcut you start Reaper with:
context menu - compatibility - change high dpi settings - override scaling behavior: system This scales everything much better in line with your general system dpi settings. -i |

However I can't figure out how to make the default text bold. I tried these lines to no avail: default_font_face Liberation Sans bold default_font_face Liberation Sans Bold default_font_face Liberation Sans:bold Anyone know the syntax? |
