Future Ancestors - Debut EP (Rock, Alternative)
Hello Reaper Forums,
Over the past 2 years, I wrote a handful of songs and spent way more time than I should have recording them, mixing them, and polishing them. The result is a set of rock/alternative songs that I'm immensely proud of. I owe A LOT to this forum. I have been lurking/posting here for years, asking questions, gathering advice, and learning to do things I never thought I could do. The end result is the best self-produced music I have ever made. The music can be streamed now, and will be available for download on 10/18/2019. If you would like a free copy, shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll make it happen.

Any critiques and/or reviews are welcome. Thanks all, and rock on!

Thanks Glennbo. That song has my favorite set of lyrics. I have a lot to say about technology in the 21st century, as most of the ep discusses!

Nice Andy,
Lots of work in there. Great energy.
I particularly liked Empty Hearted --- a bit of a Brit influence there?
Great stuff,
Best regards
SR

Thanks Sambo, I appreciate the comments!
Empty Hearted is my fave song on this EP as well.
Definitely some British rock influence throughout my music, that's for sure!

This are some really great song you have produced, but...
the lead vocals are way too low!
You have a great voice, so ... pump it up

Thank you so much for checking out two years of my life's work! haha!
Regarding the vocals, were they really that low? I did some test plays on headphones, car stereos, home stereo....everything seemed pretty even in terms of volume, but maybe I've gone "mix blind"? Were the vocals low throughout?

Very strange. Regarding the overall volume, I agree. But my master mix is averaging - 0.5db. Any ideas on how to make the master mix louder without clipping?
