I'm very much addicted to using Reaborn 2, but this theme would most certainly replace that! Looking better and better :-)

I used it for headphones like that during tracking on my old PT TDM Mix plus system.. Don't remember what really was the version I bought Pro Tools..
It was on a Mac 9600 OS9.. Can't remember if I could have that view of sends if I selected it on that system..

but I know when I updated it to 6.4.1 on OSX it could flip to those views.

on another note..So far liking this PT10 theme.

True. Reaper will never work like PT so it's all irrelevant. Themes that mimick other workstations are just that, grahpical copies, not functional copies.

They can't ever be functional copies. See the Cubase themes.

Until, in the near future, they hit a version number we can't even guess at and then...

...they become self aware.

Welcome Jack!

To be sure, you can see the media / clips even in the standard version of Reaper. This theme is nice for people who are used to PT.

Hi Peter, thank you! Because of my english it's hard for me to explain, so sorry: i don't use PT but when i edit drums i prefer that standard 2D media items, like in PT or something like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N47FLgTkZyY

Are you referring to the "classic" themes already included in reaper?

Btw, here is a screenshot of Protools 11, from Avids website.

Since it is rather large because it's probably a screenshot from a Retina display, I will keep this to a link. It is derived from this page

Funny.. I love Reaper and gave up on my PT TDM system many years ago like PT 6.4.1 and that was when it was really ugly.
But I actually think when I worked on 9 or 10 even 11 I think look nice.
I like looking at it for long hours..

now I use Reborn2 and really love that look. But to me there's something about the new PT I like the look of.
Cubase yuck!! I spent so many long sessions in front of that after I first moved from PT's and Cubase is hard on the eyes.

I would think starring at their new C7 that black mixer window would put strain on my eyes.

Looks pretty good to me also.

Faders and knobs and sliders and stuff are what they are. What (imo) makes a theme good isn't the 3d stuff that looks cool, trying to look like an SSL or whatever, but the overall control layout and color contrast. With a few minor exceptions the "layout" of PT's controls is better than most... especially in arrange.

The color choices 'aint bad either. IMO, MMV. I still hate those send faders though.

Anyway, some themers here have done some really, really nice looking "analog console emulation" type themes, some great graphic work imo. But I don't actually prefer "using" any of them. They look cool as hell in a screenshot though.

That send breakout stuff is not my cup of tea either. Reaper packs more in to a smaller space, and could probably just add 'presence' meters by widening the MCP slightly. Double the height and you can add dual-pan knobs and pretty nifty meters as well.

The interesting change in v11 of PRotools seems to be tinting of the TCP/MCP, in varying degrees for the insert/send area and the lower fader/button area. That looks neat to me at first glance.

Nice theme!
On one pic there's an empty slot between 2 FX or sends, don't remember, is that possible in Reaper?
I like to line-up my FX and sends and so far they're all stacked at the top of the windows...
