Default Question about vocal latency when using ReaVerb plugin

I have a third party plugin that I tried using for vocal reverb and there is no latency. BUT, when I use ReaVerb, and then choose a vox IR, I end up getting a BIG gap of latency! I'm more than sure that this much latency was not the intent.

Learning how to compensate for this is a completely NEW topics for me so this post is my 'first day in class' so to speak.....

What do I need to do? Because it is unusable the way it is.....

Make a new track.
Put reverb on the new track.
Send your vocal to the reverb track.

Don't put any FX on the track you are recording - will solve all latency problems.

If you are mixing, it is still best practice to put the reverb on a separate track and send the vocal to it.
