Default fernsehmuell_Forward_Play_Shuttle_(L).lua having issues

i'm running the avid scripts from fernsehmuell_on my reaper for linux installation and am having an issue, though, i'm not at all convinced that it's linux related.

actually, there are two issues. first, i'm not getting the proper play-speed adjustments when i press the L key more than once. i get an error that the script is already running in the background and asking if i want to start a new instance , terminate all instances, or cancel. this also happens when i toggle between J and L. generally, J is working better, as far as speed.

second, i am having an issue with the J key. it seems to do some odd things, like displaying two cursors, if pre-roll is enabled.

these scripts are a great idea and i very much appreciate the efforts.

thanks,
babag

I gave a notice to @fernsehmuell about that.

Hello babag,

i can reproduce the buggy preroll behaviour. Thanks for reporting, I will look into it.
I have an idea what is causing the other problem (I don't test for linux as OS, yet!)

regards,
fernsehmuell

thanks, fernsehmuell. frankly, i'm not convinced that the behaviors are at all linux specific.
