Default Loop Area Shading...?

Finally after days of hit and miss, I re learned my Theme Editor.

I have only one thing missing, and it's the area where I have a loop using the ruler, and I wanted to shade that are, so it's not all black like the area just to the right.

Thanks for any help, and I swear to never try another theme again.
This one has collapsable/vertical TCP for max screen area, big Transport, double rows of tools, etc.

Cheerz

it is a setting in the pref's theme editor...

you can set the color and the way it is displayed... like by hue or by alpha channel, etc.... experiment and hit apply until you see it like you want it and then save out a theme file to use when you make your xxx.ReaperThemeZip file along with all your pngs.

hahaha do I see my blue meters in there? I like blue meters!

The color settings Hopi probably means are for the time selection, not the loop area. Changing them will only look as if they do the trick if "Link loop points to time selection" happens to be enabled.

Alright and thanks you two.
I have Hopi meters and cursors and the latest number stuff I can use in Media items too.
It's Mercado negro, Just another Reaper 4 Theme, and White Tie transport, so I got a mix of everything I like, and naturally it's for a dimly lit stage, and thanks to the new Intel Graphics I can change the appearance at an angle for my slanted 4U rack.
I shall see if I can fix this, just got in from a long day at CES and long night just visiting friends around town gigging.

Thanks Again Youz Two.

OK got it all back, thanks again guys.
Odd that we get so used to a certain way of working and feel naked when the flow gets interupted...
I could still record no problem, but I always like the shaded thing as I can get it to change colors when I am sticking in reversed audio, etc.

Ciao

glad you got it working and happy...

gofer is of course correct... but I have mine always set that way, loop and selection being the same...

having them separate drives me nutz.

hahaha Lego themes! just snap in and out the parts you want

Indeed. I use nothing but Modular apps where I am free of gunk I do not like, and everything from Bidule, to Reaper to Scope DSP are streamlined, and customized.
