Default save/load all mixer settings

I'm relatively new to Reaper, having grown out of Cubase LE. One feature that was easy on Cubase but which I still haven't found how to do on Reaper is to save or load all mixer settings. Most of my work is with the same musicians in the same situation so i would like to be able apply all of my settings and effects exactly how I did in the last session. Is there a quick way to do this or do I have to load fx chains one at a time, etc.

Default Track Templates !!

Set up the # of tracks you work with, Load all the plugins / VSTI's to the tracks you want.
Select all the tracks, right mouse and " save selected tracks as template ".

Next time you start a project
From the main menu., Insert/track from template/choose the template from the list.

You can set up as many templates as you like.

Cheers

PS: Welcome to the REAPER forum

Thanks Wolffman,
For your response and the warm welcome.
My issue with your method is that while I am recording I don't want all of the effects, balances, etc. In the interests of reducing cpu use I just record straight (all 12 tracks at once). It's next morning when I sit to mix that I want to be able to load all the mixer settings. I know that there are work arounds but not the simple one click does it all, from what I can see.

Just copy and paste what you've recorded into your standard project. One keystroke to select all, then open, then another to paste.

Or set up your standard project with two mixer states, one with everything off and the other with everything the way you like it. Search for "snapshot" here to download the necessary extension.

Thanks Art,
I get the first method and it seems simple enough. I'll do it and see how I go.
With the second method, when everything is "turned off" does it use resources or is that only when it is turned on?
