Thanks for porting Reaper to Linux
Though still regarded as "experimental," Reaper is functioning well in my Linux (Mint XFCE) so far, so I decided to buy a license after 10 days evaluation; it seems a small price to pay for such a promising development.
Thank you. |

I'm using REAPER for Linux as my main DAW now. I can also still boot Windows and run REAPER there too, but I haven't needed to since getting REAPER working well in Linux.

Thirded! I've been looking to cut my ties to Apple/OSX for a while. This is magical.
Well, some of my plugins don't bridge nicely, but what can you do. It's still pretty close to magical. |

Thanks!
Thank you for porting Reaper to Linux!
Used to run Reaper in Wine. Worked OK, now run entirely in Linux. Debian, mwm, ALSA, Jack if using fluidsynth a few LinVst managed 32 bit Windows plugins a few lv2vst managed lv2 plugins A week to get it all set up. Many things are better now, launch speed, keys, window placement. Simpler. |
