Default I'm not able to reduce the length of some MIDI notes

Hello !

How can I manage this issue, please ?

What value is the grid set to? I routinely set mine fairly low (1/32) but every now & then forget & get this same problem. Might be that which is doing it?

On the video, we can see the different set I have used. 1/8 1/4 1/16

I'd suggest you go to Preferences/Mouse Modifiers/Context drop down menu:MIDI note/left drag

and choose a key from your keyboard of your liking (Shift,Ctrl,Shift+Ctrl, etc)and select "Move note ignoring snap"

Let's see if that works for you.

It doesn't work. There is no snap in my video.

Try with this project :

In Midi Actions, if I set "Set length for next insert note : grid" set to ON, the reduce length issue disapears...

If "Options: Drawing or selecting a note sets the new note legnth" is set to ON, the issue appears when the lenght of created note is less large than the grid...

Very strange.
