Albert, you have successfully made me come back to Reaper, after ditching it for Cubase a few months back, with this theme and Rea-Evolution.
Screw Eucon support. I need a pretty theme to look at! :P
If you want some big screen testing done, I'm all game. 2 x 27" screens and a 70" projected screen, all running at magical resolutions!

This one is going down in history of one of the greatest REAPER themes. The amount of time & work people put into these is impressive. Thanks to all the awesome themers out there!

better and better with each improvement...
you do know the shadow on the tcp knobs is much darker than on the mcp knobs, ...right? Looks great on the mcp but to me, the shadow is too heavy on the tcp knobs...
PS... ummm Imperial Tansport is OK, but IMHO there should still be some manner of turing Loop Play on or off from the transport

I'd like to see an input FX icon both on TCP and MCP something very small with obvious colour when turned on: glow red or green or yellow....
All those themes are so good I keep changing theme every week !!
Good job!

Thanks for the update Albert!
I'm wondering if there could be a little bit more contrast on the sliders that indicate how much send in the efx sends? This is one thing that makes Imperial difficult for me to use.. I'm used to being able to see with a quick glance how much (or if any) is being sent... a small thing but it would be a wonderful gift
I KNOW this is going to be my main theme when you release it.

was just thinking, the opposite of this would be just as cool. have all lights on and then as you pan left they turn off as the knob passes them, and back on as it passes back. so fully lit is no pan, and dark area is where pan is.
same thing but different.
it gets better functionality, and some might like the look of the lights being on, so you get more of that look all the time.

Looks great!
But please, two things:
- save space!
Write M and S on the mute and solo buttons and the phase symbol ON the button, so the text can be removed and the buttons moved closer (and faders a little shorter). With % written at the pan-knobs, the above display L-R is obsolete (and like already said, the LEDs make no sense like this). And, even transport button are used much, most people I think will use the keyboard shortcuts or a controller for that, so they don't need to be that big.
- use color
We all have color monitors, but theme designers always do everything gray. Colors make everything more distinguishable. Give the M and S button a little color (or a color border) even when off. And no dark gray writing on mid gray background (or similar) please!

The TCP measures 4 inches long VS 2 inches long with the default theme. That's 50% more.

I kind of liked the old knobs better
Again for the contrast. More contrast means less eye-strain
Any chance of them being in an alternate layout?

On my 23" IPS panel the knobs show up fine. less so on my older tft panel.
Looking forward to playing with this, Albert.

To me, black knobs are way better.
It's not the knobs that have to be contrasted, but the values.
It's easier to see the settings on the black ones compared to the white ones.
- Anything that is at default value should be almost invisible
- Anything that has been edited should be clearly visible
- A very large and complex session should not look like a Christmas tree
- At any moment we should be able to clearly see what is going on
If you take a look at Logic, Protools or even Sonar X, they all respect these basic rules of "survival" for the user
> That said, it is cool from Albert that he makes 2 layouts for peeps that prefer the white knobs

Albert, to the overall style of your theme, the transport I think is not aesthetic. In my opinion you should give it its own personality.
Saludos y mucho ánimo, pedazo de artista.
