Default What happened to my time sig markers?

just upgraded from version 5.4 something to v5.965 on OSX.
now, loading a project, my time signature changes are buried in the ruler when there used to be a nice, easy to spot blue marker indicating where they were. how do i get that back? (using classic 1.x theme btw, tho behavior is same in v5 default theme)

Try a L.Click & drag downward, from just below the main toolbar, above the top track. It allows setting extra height for various stuff in the ruler - markees, regions, time sig/tempo markers.

thanks for link. watched it, but see no indication of how to get the old behavior back. i.e., big honkin', blue, marker lookin' indicators for tempo changes. it wasn't broken for me and my workflow, grrrr, who fixed it?

I don't really like the new way either but a year later I barely remember what it used to look like.

you'd have to go back to the 5.70 pre-release discussions.

edit - just a guess, the marker handle was removed to reduce accidental movement which is often disasterous to projects

i wish i could tell you what the "new way" looks like, but it is so freakin' small (and can't be colored) that i can't hardly see it. i.e. seeing the honkin' big, blue time sig change marker from across the room while playing drums to a track sure helped in the past. new way? not so much. grrrr. option for old way in prefs, please.
