Great tune guys! I love the collaboration factor. As has been said, the understatement keeps this song precious. I'm so glad it didn't break into heavy/hard.
Well done.

Thanks Warren! Much appreciated. If I remember right (long time ago), this was one of those tunes (music-wise) that just sort of wrote itself.
The collab is what makes this song enjoyable for me to listen to, no question. Sam and Scott are just so damned talented.

This song is hellacool, every element sounds great. I have no critiques, the mix/drums/vox/guits/harm/bass all working perfectly. really a great song

Thanks man! Hat's off to Quality Control (sammydix and shemp). They didn't let anything slip by.

Yuz guyz work it good
Love the multi-layered vocals!
Critical: harp a bit hot for me except the 'solo' and the lead g. could use some effects spice

Thanks cap'n! I'll take your advice and consider what I can change a bit when the inevitable need to tweak comes along.

Just listened to this again
I was trying to think of why it made me feel nostalgic. I hope it's not a bad thing but th first things that sprang to mind were The Moody Blues, and something about the vocal treatment made me think of Jethro Tull
It's very nice, very mellow and def my kind of thing. This one's a keeper

The first thing in my mind is Alice In Chains. I get that vibe from a lot of Music to Murder's tunes.

Not a bad thing at all Tedwood! I love it. For this particular song, we've had comparisons to Alice in Chains, Guns and Roses, Cat Stevens, Aerosmith, Jefferson Airplane, David Bowie, The Black Crowes, The Doors, The Moody Blues and Jethro Tull! I don't know what to make of all that, but it's really cool. We're all driven to find order in chaos and familiarity in the unknown. I do it every time.
Also had comments that range from giving someone chills and conjuring imagery to a guy that can hear it as a face-melter in his mind and someone else who says it's too vague and meandering between different ideas too much. We've posted the song in a couple places, but for both Sammy and I, the REAPER forums are where we really trust people and take it to heart.
Ain't music a beautiful thing? Same song sounds different to everyone.

That's a vibe that I can dig. They will always be one of my all time favourites (the 90's AIC, that is). Speaking of which, off to listen to some Dirt!
