Take Envelopes

-> enable a take envelope
-> right-click the only envelope point and select "Delete envelope point"

=> envelope disappears and you can't get it back

Not here, I tried all 3 envelopes, with single or multiple points. The envelope still remains.

I'm not using the default though, ie I use shift to create a new node.

Edit: ok, confirmed if you delete the node that automatically appears at the start of an item (although I'm not sure why you would want to delete this).

it simply should be undeletable, if it's not meant to be. that's all i wanted to say ...

why not just handle it the way track envelopes are handled. you can move the first point, which then sets all values left of it (very nice), so it's a replacable point, flexible principle!
and if you delete all points the envelope jumps back to all zero.
