Default Help with timestamps and cutting item issues!

Hey guys! I just updated my reaper from a very old version but there are some issues that are really confusing me and I am wondering if I can get it to behave how I am used to.

- When I cut an audio or midi item, everything behind it in that track snaps backwards to the beginning of the item I cut. I want everything else to stay where it is.

- When I select one item (sometimes from a split item) and slide it to move it it seams to move everything else in that track with it, despite only have one item selected. I want to only move one item.

- Where is "reverse item as new take" button?

Sounds like you have ripple editing enabled in the main toolbar.

If you ever can't find an action, just look it up in the actions list. Make a shortcut or add it to a menu or toolbar if you use it a lot.
