Default Issue with plug-ins resizing

Hello guys ! Hello to the Cockos team !

I would like to report an issue I discovered recently with VST plug-ins which can change their user interface size (for example, all the u-he plug-ins, but I have seen the same behaviour with plug-ins coded using JUCE).

In Reaper for macOS, if we open a VST plug-in, and then change its size so the new total size is bigger than the screen size, the plug-in window doesn't have any scroll bar which would allow the navigation into every part of the new UI. You can test this with u-he Hive for example, by right clicking on the top panel and setting the new size at 200%. That issue might be annoying for users who change the size of a given plug-in by mistake.

In Reaper for Windows, that issue isn't there, but instead it seems the scroll bars are not available all the time when the should, when I mess with the Reaper plug-in window size to make the bottom and the right scroll bars appear / diseappear. It seems that the bottom one for example might not appear if the right one is there even if a significant part of the UI is hidden under the right scroll bar.

Thanks in advance !

Do the plugins work as expected in other DAWs?

I don't know, but I have not found any plug-in which can resize itself which is not causing the issues above.

The same issue appears with mvMeter2 in Reaper macOS. When the size of the plug-in is so large that the plug-in window takes all the available space, there is no scrollbar to navigate inside the UI...

Well, it seems to be a common problem under OS X: i tested other resizing plug-ins under Logic and Studio One. Same issue.
So i do not have an answer here..., sorry.
