Default Anyone using Reason 11 Chords and Scales?

I've figured out how to use the Reason 11 Lite plugin. I have patched Chords and Scales through MIDI Out to play full chords on an Analog Lab 4 piano patch. Very cool effect.

Could anyone help me find the right scale for a D blues progression? I may have to customize a patch to get the voicings I'm hoping for.

Hi Kirk, do you mean to find the right chords for a blues progression in the key of D?

Of course that would depend on the melody, but blues progressions themselves are relatively simple, although you can take them in many directions if you want to.

It really depends on what you have to go/play with it.

Actually, I have half a piano part for Ray Charles' "Hard Times" and I'm trying to find an expedient way to complete it.

I know the blues really well, but idiosyncratic piano parts are less accessible. Maybe I'm just being lazy, looking for a single key solution.

I haven't. I'll have to look up jjazzlab. Never heard of it.

*Update: where has jjazzlab been my entire life?! Fantastic sketching/songwriting tool! How is it free?!
