Are the icons all in a folder in the archive? I usually use winRAR but I wasen't sure if I could upload RAR files in here.

Yep all the parts are there just fine. Very good clone. Looks just like Vegas. I could see myself using it every now and again for a change of pace.

The resemblance is almost scary - I had to think of that first long REAPER thread over at KVR that someone started under the title What the F***! ACID clone!?! or something like it

Nice job James on the Vegas style icons and theme. Alex, you really took it to the next level with your superb Vegas variation theme. It is quite impressive indeed. I can see myself using the James HE icon set and Alex's variation theme, from time to time. It makes a great looking combo.

yeah it was ME, but I didn't post it. aww shucks finally someone woulda liked a theme I did... heh, nevertheles, good job!

glad you liked the variation guys but it was largely - with only a few minor tweakings - based on two existing things

- james' icon set
- the Las Vegas 3 LoContrast theme probably made a long time ago by ? synth maybe?

I'm blown away James! I know about 3 Vegas and Acid users who I've been meaning to spring Reaper on for a while, just wanted to get as expert as I can before I show them...these guys really don't want to learn any more software, so with your theme and a Vegas keymap, it'll be dead easy I reckon.

Since Vegas uses the windows colors The grey is either windows "classic" or windows "standard" (Other colors may change too depending on the theme)

I based mine on classic and was planning to do a standard based one. Luckily Alex beat me too it. Thanks!

The icons are for the most part from screen shots. had to do a lot of improvising though.

Looking at it now I think I should have used a less saturated red for the little fx off light. Might change that.

Also is the Input monitor off - on - auto cycle clear enough?

I'll update if I make changes.

Nice one. I've used Vegas for a long, long time doing quick designs and mixes. This is a great and simple look.

However, I'm replacing the automation mode icons with the ones from the PT3 icon set.

I like those more for their clarity and contrast.
