Set Time Selection from Selected Item (Video)

(By the way, the titles at the front, and the video fades, are done using Reaper's Video Processor plugin!)

Default Use Dynamic Split and Stretch Markers to Quantise (Quantize) Audio in Reaper

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7-3Y5PFquQ

In this video I meander around various subjects including:

• Using Stretch Markers to Quantise Audio to the Grid.

• Using Dynamic Split to Insert Stretch Markers at Transients.

• Using Dynamic Split to ACTUALLY SPLIT AUDIO.

• Whether it is always WISE to quantise.

As always, I appreciate your feedback, especially the comments that say: "WORST TUTORIAL EVER JUST GET TO THE POINT ALREADY."

(Current theme is "Studio 45" if anyone's interested.)

Nice videos John,

I also like the fact that they are short and to the point. A lot covered in a few minutes each.

Great stuff.

PS: Bronto really does it for me. Am I in trouble?

hi

handy also for these kinds of tasks is to bring up the Transient detection settings threshold window (find in actions), and tick 'display threshold in media items'

helps find a good threshold visually.

( i combine it with the auto trim silence window to help set a good threshold for that)

OMG thank you. I thought that was a theme-related setting. Life-changing! 😎
