Default ReaperConfigZip should include a note

I would love to have the option of adding a note into my ReaperConfigZip-files, when making them.
And when I import such a file, it would display it.

That way, I could not only have backups of my configuration, but also have some notes on what is in there, maybe a date of when I created it under which circumstance.

That way, I could prevent installing the wrong ReaperConfigZip-file, when I read in the notes, that I selected the wrong file.

It's not a big thing but would be quite helpful, as Project Notes are helpful for projects as well.

Interesting idea.

I can think of some work arounds for keeping these kinds of notes, but none of them are as simple as a note popup that it accessible from the same location in the preferences as the import/export commands.

For example:
Quote:
James Smith setup
Mainly facilitates custom edit commands, custom actions and script for 4-point editing in classical music. Reconfigures most of the keyboard. Adds a lot of scripts.

Filenames are a lesser substitute, as are included text files which are not accessible from within Reaper.

Good idea for portability. Could be just a text file in the ReaConfigZip and the user config directory.

Another workaround is to name current config with ExtState into fixed key, then call it for any secific config for notes. No need for external files.

Yeah, but I would love for it to be shown, when I drag the file into Reaper, so I can descide "Oops, I dropped the wrong file by accident" and stop the restarting-and importing-process right away.

One way to go would probably something like a
reaper_config_zip.ini
which I need to put into my Resource-folder. Into this file, I can put in a text. If this ini-file is existing in a ReaperConfigZip-file, Reaper shows it before restart and import-dialog and if not, Reaper behaves the way it already does.
This would also be backwards compatible with older versions of Reaper and one could extract these files easier for a "reaper-config-zip-files-browser" or something.
