Thanks. That'll make things much more convenient for Empty Item handling.

A small improvement. Toolbar button setup could use a more comprehensive setup dialogue and a few features like coloured buttons/text and more variable width.

Have you guys ever thought about writing GUI code in Lua for stuff that is is almost never used in performance-critical circumstances ? Might be faster, easier, less of an "oh god not gui stuff" method. Might be easier to keep consistent too. Toolbar button setup is a good one to do that way ?

Good points airon. +1 for colors and variable width.

Definitely. Nice to be able to e.g. move empty items by dragging from the lower half, something not possible earlier with modified mouse modifiers.

I quote this. Also, I was thinking about drop down sub-menus in toolbars, it could be useful for save or load slots for example.

I'm still getting this weird look once I resize the mixer and run the mouse pointer over the area.

Is this the latest 6.0 alpha theme? Can you post your reaper.ini and reaper-themeconfig.ini files too?

Idea: an option to disable targeting the top part and keep the bottom when the height is less than x.

Use case: I have the top context for creating a time selection and the bottom part for moving the item. When the height is collapsed, I'd like to be able to move the item but now I cannot. I could swap the top and bottom context but then it would be confusing since the position of the time ruler is always on top and items are bellow.

That option would have to work both ways, because people have different mouse modifiers for top and bottom of the media item...

Both ways meaning disabling also the bottom? That option is present, recently fixed. Or do you mean something else?

Just being able to pick if you want to ignore the bottom or the top item half when the track height is reduced below x pixels.

Yes. The option could be shown on both the top and the bottom context tabs.

It could sound:

When take lane height is less than [box] pixels, disable [radio]top [radio]bottom part.
