MIDI CC missing messages

A newbie here with a question

I like what I am seeing with 99% of what I see all looking good, but experiencing one strange behaviour. I am sorry if my explanation might get a bit wordy.

I want to be able to "preview" and "edit" (split and trim) MIDI files created by an SD Card Sequencer connected to a pipe organ.

If I play back these files using MIDIBar, (the MIDI file player with MIDI-Ox) the file replays perfectly in every function. (but there is no visualisation or editing of MIDI in MIDIBar)

If I play back these files using Cakewalk, the file replays perfectly (but the visualisation is only per Track and not per Channel, so I can't get different colours for each channel)

When I play back these files using Reaper, some Controller Change Messages are missing.
I have analysed the beginning of one file in detail and have found (using Reaper Event List) that 6 CC messages (out of 23 seen in MIDI-Ox) are simply not there. The missing messages are on 3 Channels, so it is not like one Channel is being filtered out.

If I simply open a file in Reaper and immediately export it (without doing anything to it in Reaper) the messages are missing.

Can anyone suggest what might be happening?
Have I got some setting wrong somewhere?
I am not aware of how I could have put any sort of filter or blocking?
These messages occur in blocks within a couple of seconds. Is there some sort of message speed limit?

I would really like Reaper to be able to work with these files, but with missing CC messages in every file I open, it is useless to me.

Can you post the following, so we can have a look and see what's going on?
-- a MIDI file (ZIPped up\0 that can show the problem.
-- screenshots of that file i(in the MIDI Editors?) n Cakewalk and Reaper showing the missing MIDI messages (or where they should be).

I have attached some files showing the differences.
Hopefully the attachment zip folder works.

I was not able to get Reaper to "Copy" the event list in any way, so I was not able to put it side by side the output from MIDI-Ox.
(Maybe someone can explain if this is possible?)

Working through it this time, up to the point in the example MIDI file where the first couple of notes start to play.
MIDI-Ox says there are 65 messages.
Reaper Event List says there are 38 messages.

Where can these missing messages be?
Why are they lost?
Am I doing something wrong?
