Default How to Install AU plugins for Reaper?

Hi Everyone,

Apologies if this is a silly question, but I recently purchased a mac and I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to install, for example, the Blockfish plugin in AU format to be used with Reaper. I've installed it under library/audio/plugins/components, but Reaper does not seem to detect it.

In general, where should I install AU plugins (components), and how do I get Reaper to detect them?

Thank you!!!
Paulo

AU Plugins must be in Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (not in user/Library/Audio/.....)

You can make a right mouse click in FX Window and "Scan for new plugins"

I think the Blockfish do not work on Snow OSX, the AU are not shown in Reaper and also not in Logic.
The VST are shown in Reaper, but do not work.

The Blockfish Plugins are from 2005, too old ....

You're right, it's just this plug-in...other AU plugs work just fine. Thanks!
