Default Control a tracks volume by the volume of another track?

I am try to: Control the 2nd tracks output volume strictly by what the volume level that the 1st track is playing.

I am not looking to have the - 1st tracks 'set' volume level to control the volume of the 2nd track. (volume trim automation)

I am trying to have the db output level of the 1st track to directly control the db output level of the 2nd track.

Seems plausible... just can't find or get it.

If, those are the only two tracks you will be using, I would set both tracks to zero db, and automate the master track.
If not, copy the automation envelope points of the first track to the second track, or group the tracks togethor by clicking on the + sign, and automate the volume of the group.
I hope your not talking about modulation.

I have set master track envelope to control slave track through a gate. That works. But I am trying to get the slave track to increase volume according to the increase playing db of the master track. (not through an envelope)
