Default Komplete Kontrol M32

I'm hoping someone has more info than I could find at the NI site.

I couldn't find any info on if/when Reaper will be added to NI list of compatible hosts - I was hoping to be able to use the transport controls on the M32 but I see Reaper did not make the NI advanced functionality list of DAWS.

Cubase and Nuendo integration are listed as coming but no mention of Reaper.

Thank you for the solution - works as I had hoped.

And a huge thank you to Moss!

How did you managed to make the M32 work? I followed the instructions, but the transport buttons won't work and aren't lit.

This is my configuration:

Ok I solved it, for anyone interested on the Configuration window must be selected:

Midi Input 1: Komplete Kontrol M DAW
Midi Input 2: KOMPLETE KONTROL M32 MIDI

Midi Output 1: Komplete Kontrol M DAW
Midi Output 2: KOMPLETE KONTROL M32 MIDI

I also have the DrivenByMoss: Open the configuration window action assigned to a button and use the Dis-/enable option in case the midi connection is lost.

thank you for this suggestion!

I have a question: if I add a track with the Komplete Kontrol plugin and I want to play it with the M32, it seems that I have to select "All MIDI Inputs", because the KOMPLETE KONTROL M32 device is not available on my MIDI device list (also, the Moss instructions advise to disable it in the preferences list). So, if I have other MIDI controllers assigned to other tracks, the Komplete Kontrol track will play everytime I use a controller other than the M32? This wouldn't be very good...or I'm missing something?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but can the M32 be used to just input midi notes and control whatever I'm doing in Kontakt in Reaper? I don't want to record things inside the keyboard - just trying to replace an old Korg M1 as a midi controller for articulations in orchestral software.

Is the M32 compatible with Win7? They said only 10 but most controllers work with win7. Hope so!!! Can anyone verify?
