Default (ok, not a bug) Shift + left drag item added to selection

When I hold shift and drag item to move it ignoring snap previously selected item added to selection and I move two items instead of one that I clicked.

Steps to reproduce:
-Create two items
-Select first item
-Click on empty area to deselect item
-Hold shift and drag second item
-Both items are moving
Expected:
-Only second items should moving, because first was not selected.

Important: you have to press shift first.

I use default action for media item shift + left click and shift + left drag.

Default Not a bug

Ok, now I understand how it works. If you have selected item and click on another item reaper select both items and items between them. And it's ok. But if there is no selected items reaper select all items from EDIT CURSOR to clicked item. So you need to always keep an eye on edit cursor to know what item(s) you will move while holding shift. Not so intuitive imho. Edit cursor can be even out of screen at this moment.

It will be great to have an option to exclude "select items from cursor to clicked item" behavior from default shift+click action OR have another action in mouse modifiers that works the same except this.
