Hi, I just started trying to use melodyne 4 in reaper. I tried load the VST3 version (the VST version won't even load the notes/blobs) of the plugin on my vocal track and it loaded the notes, but all the blobs are gray and can't be modified in any way. I can go into note assignment mode and alter where the blobs are on the grid, but I can't alter them to the pitches I want in either track or clip mode.
Has anyone else had this issue with Melodyne in Reaper
With the VST2 you need to TRANSFER it first. Click on the TRANSFER button, playback the track on Reaper and Melodyne will capture the sound and analyze it (draw the blobs). If you make any change on the items using Reaper you'll need to repeat this proccess, otherwise Melodyne will keep playing the old transfered file.
On the VST3 version this step is not necessary since it uses ARA. If you're getting the grey blobs you probably just need to hit the COMPARE button (it's the second one, with an arrow dodging a square).
