Macbook, Focusrite SaffirePRO 24 DSP
Like I said, I have been using this setup for over a month, no problems!!
Any help will be appreciated Thanks!!!!

Welcome to the forums!
Check File->Project Settings if there's an invalid path entered or something along these lines. Sounds a bit like REAPER tries to record on a location it doesn't have permissions or access to do that (it should give you an error message though).
Edit: Ah glad you got it working!

reverse problem... or double it :)
Thought i'd reply here as it seems a similar problem.. except its almost the opposite for me. Today it has just decided to not play! And also record for that matter. I rolled back to an earlier version of Reaper as i'd just updated to 3.71 but it has made no difference. The play button lights up green, it says its playing, but it isn't.
If anyone can help that would be great, i cant do anything at all.
Thanks

thanks for the quick reply.
I tried reselecting the audio device, but it didn't remedy the problem. I then selected the internal audio device and it played back, with meters etc.. except no audio. But it did appear to work with the internal device nevertheless. Any other ideas? :s

Double check the control panel for your audio device. You may have output muted there.
If you select your interface as the main audio device under audio/midi setup, do other sounds outside of reaper play through it? iTunes for example?

The other audio software works, sound card is fine.. it just seems that reaper wont play, the curse moves a tiny little bit when you hit play button, as if it wants to play but stops there. There is also a weird little flash of the meters.
update -
Guys thanks for your help, Just as i was writing this reply i thought (first time today) i'd check reaper again.. and strangely its fixed itself. Literally the last time i opened my Macbook and Reaper yesterday, it didn't work, so who knows.... (i'd also done a couple of reboots initially but didn't fix it).
If anyone else has had this experience please let me know
Thanks

When you see the play cursor not moving, it usually means that REAPER can't communicate with the interface or its driver for some reason. In many cases, simply rebooting and double checking the interface (connection, power) will fix that.

Reaper Will not record
Hi.have problems with my Reaper. It will not Record or Playback. I installed windows 10. I have a artesia a22xt interface, which say it sai it is for Windows 7, 8 and 10. But when I try to record, It goes for a second or so, then it stops. And it will not playback at all. I have reinstalled Reaper and the interface. But it is the same problem.
Is there someone that can help to find the solusion for this problem?
