Default The problem with sound

Hi guys!
Help to solve please the problem with the sound. Already checked all I could, but there is no sound. Does not play not MIDI, not audio files. I also tried the portable version, but nothing has changed. To start, I attached my audio settings to make it easier to solve the problem step by step.
thanks in advance!

what if you change sample rate to 44100?
what if you use ASIO4ALL instead of WASAPI?

A few days ago everything worked correctly. I installed another SO and then the sound was gone (I think the problem started with this). After restarting, I turn on only Reaper, and nothing else
Yes, everything works, even Сubase, players, everything

What do you have your record monitoring set to?Its the little triangle in the tcp - if you hover your mouse over it, its set to either on, off or auto. auto is easiest as it adapts to whether you waNT TO HEAR THE SOUND ALREADY ON THE TRACK OR MONITOR WHAT YOU ARE ENTERING INTO IT. sorry about capslock

OK. Have you tried running it with record monitor in AUTO mode? I always do this so I dont ahve to keep changing it for either recording or playback. May not solve your issue but at least you will have one thing you know should work.

Also, what is an "SO"?

I ran it with a recording monitor in AUTO mode, but no changes, unfortunately.

I think it’s because of SO, but I tried everything and nothing changes.

looking at your picture I suspect the audio card is not capable of 48000
try 44100

well if you don't even get audio out from a simple wav file then there is something very wrong with your set up....

In Windows sound [not reaper] what do you have set up as the primary sound device and what is set for input and output there and are the levels set for each?

Do you have VLC? Can you play a wav file in VLC?

let's find that out before we dig into reaper

Thanks for the answer!
Yes, VLC is losing to WAW.
CUbase, Studio One works for me without problems. And the settings at the very beginning of the topic have a screenshot.
