Question about toolbar buttons...

Hi, I've figured out how to make custom toolbars, how to dock them and so on.

I'd like to add a 'time selection auto punch' button next to the Record button on the transport - is this possible (without coding), or would that only be available thru its own toolbar that I'd have to float or dock somewhere?

Just looking for a rapid way to shift recording modes.

The transport is not a toolbar, so no. But you can R-click the record button to select time selection autopunch...

Right click on record button and choosing record mode isn't quick enough?

I don't know if it's possible to add anything like that to transport but you could hide it and make a new toolbar with custom actions and dock it next to the mixer or something?

I might be wrong on the transport thing though so don't take my word for it!

, yeah, just lazy and thought "another button will make this FASTER", ha ha. Thanks. I know it's in the drop-down of the Record button, wanted to be the cool kid who has TWO record buttons right there lol. Doesn't sound worth the effort to go monkeying around, and putting the button elsewhere would take longer to 'press' than the dropdown.
