Default how do you "ripple trim" in REAPER?

I've been searching through actions, looking to combine commands into a macro but can't seem to get this right...

how do you 'ripple trim' so that when you trim, the item(s) preceding/following ripples to the edit point ???

premiere does this okay, example attached.

thank you!

Ripple is an option. Turn it on with the toolbar button that looks like a grid of squares. Then you're in ripple mode and your edits will ripple.

There are actions to turn it on and off and can be combined into custom actions, which is what I usually do, because it's pretty disastrous setting to leave on by accident.

Okay, it appears I have been using the following action:

"Item edit: Trim left/right edge of item to edit cursor"

Instead of:

"Item: Trim items left of cursor"

While in Ripple Mode.
Thanks!
