Piano Roll only plays one note?

Hi guys. I am fairly new to reaper and I'm stuck with a couple of thing.
When I import a sample in ReaSamplomatic5000, I then highlight an area in that channel and go to 'insert midi item' to get a sequencer in there, the sample plays at the same note on every key.
Is there a different way to do this?

Maybe you forgot to pick Mode: note (semitone shifted) in RS5000
