Default Reaper and X32 on OSX

I had to hook the X32 to a mac today. It doesnt seem like there are drivers to install, but I couldn't find a way to set the safety buffer size (though I could force reported buffers in reaper). How do you change all this stuff on OSX?

The most overlooked tool for settings, is Audio/MIDI Setup in Applications/Utilities...

However, class compliant audio devices usually don't have many settings.
