I have "SATA" 3 connections on the back of my computer they look like
USB connectors.
I have searched the web trying to find what best use I can get from these connections.
Is anybody able to tell me what choices I have with these?
Can I run a SSD off them or what.
I am at a loss, this is bugging me I even have extension cables for them.
But if you have the ports you can get cables and use them. They do what they do. (Including providing bandwidth for a SSD just like an internal SATA3 connection.)
Thanks guys
Thanks Stella the wiki has the information many thanks the one thing I never looked at yes the the signal but not the power thing that was what was nagging me!
SATA 3 is not that slow though, good enough for audio,
