Default MIDI Chord Identification

Hi all,
is there an option/plugin in Reaper to identify midi chords, either as I play them, or after they're recorded?
Thanks!!

There's a midi plugin Insert Piz Midi Chord Analyzer
https://code.google.com/archive/p/pizmidi/downloads

Midi Editor > Actions > Notation: Identify chords on editor grid

ReaPack > Search selected notes in chord finder

there are some tools in ReaTrak

I'll try that ASAP with a piece by Bach I already had chordified by "Band in a Box", which gave me rather weird but absolutely interesting "jazzy" Chords I intend to manually edit before trying to perform it.

Comparing the Results will be fun !

Thanks very much, I was able to download the plugin and load the VSTi in Reaper on a midi piano track, but can't seem to get the plugin to work, ie. identify chords?
any tips, any settings I need to configure on the plugin? maybe set-up the routing on the "MIDI" button in the plugin interface?
Thanks!

Just clicked FX button and loaded it in, see pic below.

You can use this updated script ReaTrak chords from midi item.lua to get the chords from the rhythm track to regions.

You can also send the midi out to https://sourceforge.net/projects/ackord/
using http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html

thanks so much, I got it to work! I had an instance of Kontakt (piano) and then the vst for chord analyzer, realized I needed to put the chord analyzer before the Kontakt instance in the chain and it is identifying chords now.
I will also take a look at the other options you mentioned, ie. outputting the chords, etc., thanks!

Supposedly Kontakt eats the Midi notes. In Reaper you can set the plugin slot to prevent this.

Top of the Frame Reaper creates for a plugin -> [ 2 in / 64 out] (or similar) -> I/O -> Midi output -> set to "merges" or "disabled".
