I don't see any virtual instrument plugin

I have recently installed Reaper and started evaluating it as an alternative for Mixcraft where I have certain performance bottlenecks.
In Reaper I'm trying to add virtual instrument track and would like to select instruments like Piano,Guitar etc, but i couldn't find any virtual instrument plugin (my VSTplugins folder is blank). Am i missing something?
Also what are the virtual instruments available with the default Reaper installation?
Where do i get virtual instruments plugins if they are not available with the default installation?

You only get a simply synth.

Just need to download and instal/unpack it in your plug ins folder (you can get more info in Options -> Preferences -> VST).
